This course is for new coaches or experienced grassroots coaches who coach players in the under 6 to Under 11 age range and will start in September 2023. This is a course that will benefit any coach who wants to improve their team and the players in their team, it will improve you as a coach and take your coaching to the next level. The course comprises of 6 webinars which will include tips and advice on:
- Creating a season plan
- Session plan template and how to create session plans
- What you should be teaching players at each age
- How to create effective decision makers
- How to coach players of different ability levels in your team
- How to include goalkeepers in your sessions
- Tips for dealing with parents
- Using Small Sided Games
- Formations and Tactics
- How to run an effective team talk
- How to adapt your sessions if they aren’t working
- Much much more
The course is delivered by Seb Tidey who is an UEFA A Licence coach. His experience includes:
- Working in grassroots football for 18 years at all age groups.
- Coach Educator for the FA delivering Level 1, UEFA C and UEFA B licence courses.
- Writing coaching curriculums for football clubs and private academies.
- Coaching in the professional academy system for 7 years.
- Semi-professional adult coaching experience.
